Editing HTML is a bitch

I have so much respect for programmers right now that I have to blog about this feeling of respect that I have right now. If you notice, I just change my blog layout again... This time I opted to use the blogger template (which before was very lame and boring IMHO) and I find it quite user friendly.

So... I finally push away my laziness and install the FB like button for my blog. I wanted to install one for ages but I just couldn't spare some time to search for <data:post.body/>. Such a simple task to do and yet when I scroll through the html code, I feel like as if I'm reading some ancient aliens scribblings and I know there's an easier way to search through the coding but I just couldn't remember how. Until now I am really surprised that I passed my programming subject.

I am amazed how programmer can do that. Heck, I'm amazed with anyone that can write codes. I am the typical user where I almost don't know any single thing about my laptop and whatever problem I'm having I just refer to my cousin Wawan. I don't know how to download software illegally (spare me... I'm just a poor student). I don't know how to format my laptop and I don't even know how to update my illegally downloaded antivirus, don't even bother downloading a new one to solve my virus infected laptop.

Yes... I am so ignorant about this computer thingy which I use everyday and can't live without. I'm also suppose to be an engineer... (Not a software engineer obviously).  When the public portrays engineers as nerds... I honestly couldn't see me in that category. I'm not even that smart and I have to agree with this pie chart.

Yeah... that's probably why I took this course... "Trust me, I'm an engineer". Trust that I can plan your construction project efficiently and that structure I design won't fail in 10 years time. HAHA

I don't regret choosing this course tho... Finally in my final year. So wish me luck!

and Again THANK YOU PROGRAMMERS for all your hardwork! Thank You Software engineers for creating microsoft project, all the software I use so I can feel like an engineer. HAHA

Running man fever

I've been quite addicted lately to a Korean variety show called Running Man... I'm sure many have heard about it. I only heard about it a few months ago when my friend Sasa show it to me. I'm not really into Korean entertainment, most of the time I think their drama is cheesy, I despised the "cute girl" act (which now I know it's call "aegyo") and men wearing eyeliner.

All I ever did while watching any Korean dramas was criticizing on the ridiculously predictable storyline especially love story drama. All the celebrities (especially girls) look similar, the ridiculous boy bands name (2pm, 2am WTF?!) and any Korean mainstream entertainment just irritated me. And after Sipitang I thought I will never ever watched anything Korean anymore.

That was before Running Man...

Now... my whole perspective of Korean entertainment change! Well... not really still hated the aegyo girl and not really interested in watching any Korean love story. But... I now know to differentiate them, ( they do look a lot different) and I have some favorite Korean male celebrities...

1. Nichkun
Technically he's not Korean (He's from Thailand) but he's just soooo..handsome without his eyeliner. He's a member of 2pm, (yeah,that's the stupid boyband's name I mentioned) (-_-) I know...
BUT HE IS JUST SO HOT, I CANNOT RESIST HIM!

2. Yong Hwa the lead singer from CnBlue.
Need I say more?...

But this post is not to ramble about hot guys... (Focus Cynta!) I'm talking about Running Man. Running Man is a variety show about a group of 7 Korean celebrities (which sometimes include famous Korean celebrities) playing some sort of silly survival games which involve them (of course) running. It's like playing tag by removing each other name tag, the winner that can outsmart the game will be given prizes such as gold, delicious delicacies etc...

The game is so silly and sometimes stupid add with 7 funny personalities, makes it so fun to watch. I know some of the part may be acted and sometimes the game can be ended easily but was dragged so that it can be humorous I guess. I can't help but to love Running Man. So lemme give you a bit trivia of the characters in Running Man.

Ji Suk Jin, the oldest Running Man also one of the weakest member.
Although I think sometimes it's a bit unfair that He never really got picked by any celebrities (unless there's an episode where he does and I haven't seen it) because of his "weakness". The show should give him a chance to be the centre of attention, I would love to see an episode where Suk Jin is a spy.

Yoo Jae Suk, the nation no.1 MC a.k.a grasshopper a.k.a Yoouruce Willis. He looks weak but don't let that fool you, he's actually quite fit for his age and he can trick people easily. If you watched the Oppa Gangnam Style music video, he's the yellow suit guy doing the dance battle with Psy.

Kim Jong Kook a.k.a The tiger. He's the smartest and toughest guy in Running Man. His prediction are almost correct all the time and he's such a gentleman. He's a Korean Singer, I've check out some of his music video, not really digging his song though.

Kang Gary from the hip hop duo Lessang. He is potrayed as a bit slow witted but can be one of the best player in Running Man. He won the strongest Running Man episode but I think he won it because of His Monday Girlfriend Song Ji Hyo.

Ha Dong Hoon a.k.a Haha... One of the funniest guy in Running Man although sometimes he over did his funny act. He is my favorite character (because I like funny guy).

Lee Kwang Soo the maknae (the youngest... WTF I know what that means) of the show. He is born on the year 1985, he's 193 m, nicknamed the Giraffe.
He's the betrayer and also the funniest because of his awkwardness and silly attitude (which make him my favorite!). He usually have this dumb shock expression and always try to find a way to get rid of Jong Kook.

Song Ji Hyo, our only Running Girl, a Korean actress. She looks quite different without makeup (still pretty though) and one of the brightest even with her constant blank expression. She was the Monday Girlfriend to Kang Gary but since her real relationship went public, there's no more Monday Couple. I like how she's not embarrassed to look sloppy on camera.

So there you go... a few trivia about the characters in Running Man. Imma leave a youtube video of the 1st episode of Running Man so you can see what I mean. The show is quite different from the 1st episode now, still fun to watch tho. :)

Enjoy Watching!

P/s: I know there's 8 people on the running man group picture. Song Joong Ki was one of the cast before he quit after episode 41. Not much to say about him, except that he supposed to be very bright but it doesn't really show much in the show.

Yours truly...

Beautiful girls all over the world.

Beautiful girls are so beautiful that when they farted people will use their fart as perfume.

When beautiful girls laugh, their laughter is like a sweet melody.

Beautiful girls will make your heart skip a beat.

Beautiful girls will die beautifully.

Just look at her, how dreamy she look. Admiring her perfect looks make you wish that you can look at least half of that.

I admit I do love to look like her (not exactly like her but skinny like her).

But too bad... Not everyone can be beautiful like her. Anyway the subject of my rant today is obviously about beautiful girls and girls who are not so fortunate to be born with good looks. ( maybe I should use woman instead of girls... since I'm entering late 20s soon (T_T)... )

I guess I can be consider (clears throat) as one of those unfortunate people but I do think I AM NOT UGLY, I'm just not good looking enough to be consider beautiful... maybe pretty perhaps? LOL

I had a conversation with some friends of mine about this topic. It made me think what is the criteria to be labelled as beautiful... I think Angelina Jolie is beautiful but some people will disagree with me. And I don't mean the inner beauty here, this is a very shallow bimbotic post that discusses the outer beauty because you might need to use a microscope to see that inner beauty but outer beauty can beat that in just one glance.

Why I think Angelina Jolie is beautiful?
1. Full lips
2. Nice nose
3. Her piercing eyes...
4. Her teeth.
(I have a thing for straight teeth is that the correct term for it? I don't give a fuck)

and why do I think Fujii Lena is beautiful?... Well for the same reason as why I think Angie is beautiful.

But that's my criteria... how about the public criteria of beauty? Maybe that's too hard to summarized so lets just say what do KK city people criteria of beauty. It wouldn't be too hard to guess but do correct me if I'm wrong...

1. Fair acne free skin
Have you ever heard of someone you know saying this" Cantik! Putih lagi", "Boleh tahan la, putih kulit dia" "Tidak juga cantik tapi putih lah".

2. Sharp nose.
"Mancung oh hidung dia"

3. Long black hair or just long hair.

4. Slim

Just look at this Sabahan beauty and check out their physical resemblances.

Long hair... CHECK.
Sharp nose... erm CHECK?!
Fair... CHECK!!
Slim...CHECK!!!

And BAM!

They are our glorified Sabahan Beauties.
I bet they have like a thousand comments complimenting how beautiful they look and literally most men will stop and stare at their beauty, heck even woman will stare (either jealously or admiringly, your pick...) at them.

I also bet that because of them, people say.. "Cantik-cantik perempuan Sabah"

Because of that criteria it is easy to be label as beautiful. All you have to do is to be born with that criteria and if you aren't just fake it.

Yeah... I'm telling people to fake beauty. Not everybody can be born beautiful but thankfully we can try to be one.

Don't like your fats... EXERCISE LAH and DIET.
Don't like your tanned skin... GO BUY WHITENING PRODUCTS (I however love my tanned skin).

DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO BE BEAUTIFUL

Everything is easy as long as you put the effort to look beautiful you will achieve it. I seriously do not believe in natural beauty, natural beauty vanished a long time ago after the first man uses shampoo.

Although some probably don't care and choose to focus on their inner beauty than the outer beauty. Well then I respect you for that. And it's a big bonus when someone is not only beautiful on the surface but inside as well.

It's not wrong to be conceited as long as you are not hurting anybody.

till then...

color me like one of your french girls

I have like the longest black hair period... When I started this blog my hair was light brown, then I got sick of it and change it back to black, cut my hair and now...

I colored my hair again and I don't even know what my hair color is.

The thing is I'm not quite adventurous in changing my hair style. I've had short boyish hair for 10 years and then after form 5 decided to look more girly so I grow my hair long stuck with it for about 5 years and now short hair again.

Boring...

I wish I am more adventurous like those bloggers and a hair salon that will sponsor my monthly hair needs (hair treatment, wash, whatever treatment I need for my hair). Gah... Maybe I will someday. I Hope so. :D

So the truth is... This blog post is just another meaningless attempt to upload self pictures without being too obvious. LOL...

So from this to...

 This!

So what do you think? Okay?...

I guess for now it is safe to post more recent pictures of me! Yay!

ok... enough la... The point is I dyed my hair and am happy with it.

Hanging out with Asif and Rene

If you're a fan of jazz music you'll probably heard of the dynamic duo, Asif and Rene.

To be honest I'm not really a fan of any type of music... I have no knowledge whatsoever about music except that I remember that I used to learn to read some music notes in primary one which probably is the only thing I ever learn about music. I can't play any instruments (obviously) and my list of favorite music is randomly picked according to my moods. I'm afraid I'm also one of those people who don't know how to really appreciate musician. Yeah, I know...

But... (you know there's gonna be a "but") hanging out with me uncle and his best friend made me feel ashamed of me self (sorry, I just saw Ali-G) that I can be so ignorant about music. How beautiful listening to live music played by real musician. Musician that really care about their art and not only in it because of the money and fame. Although money does makes the world go round and fame won't hurt anyone.

So anyway... I was (still am) applying to be sort of their pa/promoter (I need money to afford my internet bills! and shoes...clothes, accessories etc..), sent them an email with my resume and a few hours after that Asif called me and said, "Hey, J if you're free this evening why don't you come to the beach resort and write about the event we're playing.".... Of course I said yes!... 1. Free food    2.Good Music of course!

And so here are some of the pictures that I've taken that particular day. (Sorry this is a long overdue post, I promise myself not to procrastinate anymore!).

Experimenting shadows photography.

The lights on the stage looks awesome.

This picture looks like Asif and Rene is planning a revenge on someone.

Interesting decor the night.

Le food. Simply delicious.

and...

The only decent picture I capture during the real performance. I was sitting quite far. :(

Ok... abrupt end, need to finish some unfinished business.
